The role is based in Mumbai and reports to the General Manager - TA, Rewards, OD, PMS, JAE, HR Strategy, Novel Jewels, INDRIYA ADITYA BIRLA GROUP
Position Purpose and Summary
This role is responsible for or supporting the design, development, and execution of strategies related to Total Rewards, Performance Management Systems (PMS), and Organization Design.
Essential Roles and Responsibilities:
1. Rewards & Compensation
- Design and manage annual compensation benchmarking and review processes (including CTC structuring, salary banding, and pay parity analysis)
- Contribute to the creation and refinement of variable pay, retention plans, and incentive structures
- Manage compensation analytics and dashboards for leadership reporting and decision-making
- Support in harmonization of compensation structures across businesses/functions
2. Performance Management System (PMS)
- Design, implement, and manage an effective Performance Management System.
- Provide guidance to managers and employees on goal-setting, performance feedback, and professional development.
- Collaborate with store managers & regional HRs to identify and implement strategies for improving productivity and employee performance.
3. Organization Design
- Support org structure reviews and job evaluation exercises in line with business transformation and growth plans
- Assist in the development of role frameworks, job families, and capability matrices
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure organization design principles are embedded in operating models
4. Policy and SOP Formulation
- Lead the development and implementation of HR policies, processes and SOPs, ensuring compliance with legal and Group requirements.
- Regularly communicate, review and update policies to align with industry best practices and evolving business needs.
Person Profile
Ideal candidate should have minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a CoE Rewards & PMS role.
1. Strong analytical and problem-solving ability
2. Deep understanding of C&B frameworks and PMS methodologies
3. Exposure to organization design tools and models (e.g., Hay, Mercer, Deloitte frameworks)
4. Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills; familiarity with HRMS/HRIS platforms
5. Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
6. High level of integrity and a data-driven approach to decision making
Educational Qualification:
Postgraduate in Human Resources (MBA/PGDM) from a tier 1 institute.
