Site Engineer

Job Title: Site Engineer (Civil)
Location: Chennai
Position Type: Full-Time

Position Overview:
We are looking for an experienced Site Engineer with expertise in Interior Design and Site Construction. The ideal candidate should have 4 years of experience in managing construction projects in metro cities, with a strong foundation in civil engineering. The role involves overseeing site operations, ensuring quality standards, and managing the complexities of urban construction environments.

Key Responsibilities:
Site Management & Supervision: Oversee daily construction activities, ensure compliance with safety and building codes, and coordinate with contractors and site personnel.

Quality Control: Inspect materials and workmanship to meet design specifications, and address quality issues.

Project Documentation: Maintain accurate records, prepare progress reports, and ensure project documents are organized.

Coordination with Design Team: Work with the interior design team to implement design concepts and provide technical input.

Client & Vendor Relations: Act as the primary point of contact for clients, manage vendor relationships, and ensure timely material delivery.

Problem Solving: Resolve on-site issues, particularly those related to metro city challenges (e.g., space, accessibility).

Required Qualifications & Skills:
Education: Diploma in Civil Engineering or Bachelors in Civil Engineering (BE).

Experience: Minimum 4 years of experience in construction site management, with at least 2 years in metro cities.

Skills: Knowledge of interior design and construction practices, strong problem-solving, and client management skills.

Work Environment:
Frequent site visits, especially in urban settings with logistical and regulatory complexities.
