Job Title : Senior ServiceNow Developer
Experience : 6- 8 years
Location : Pan India / WFO
Employment Type : Full-time
Job Summary :
The ideal candidate will have strong expertise across multiple ServiceNow modules including ITSM, ITBM, ITAM, HRSD, FSM, CSM, ITOM, and Security Operations.
You will work closely with business stakeholders, architects, and platform owners to deliver scalable and sustainable ServiceNow solutions.
Key Responsibilities :
- Implement and configure modules such as ITSM, ITBM, ITAM, HRSD, FSM, CSM, ITOM, and SecOps.
- Customize forms, workflows, business rules, client scripts, UI policies, and UI actions.
- Develop integrations between ServiceNow and third-party systems using REST, SOAP, MID Servers, etc.
- Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and support to junior developers.
- Collaborate with architects and process owners to optimize platform performance and scalability.
- Participate in platform upgrades and ensure customizations are compatible.
- Maintain proper documentation of development work and system configurations.
- Implement security best practices and role-based access control (RBAC) within the ServiceNow environment.
- Troubleshoot and resolve incidents and defects related to the platform.
- Engage in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning and estimation activities.
Required Skills & Experience :
- Strong knowledge of core ServiceNow modules :
1. IT Service Management (ITSM)
2. IT Business Management (ITBM)
3. IT Asset Management (ITAM)
4. HR Service Delivery (HRSD)
5. Field Service Management (FSM)
6. Customer Service Management (CSM)
7. IT Operations Management (ITOM)
8. Security Operations (SecOps)
- Proficiency in JavaScript, GlideScript, HTML, CSS, and REST/SOAP APIs.
- Experience in developing ServiceNow integrations with external systems.
- Hands-on experience with Flow Designer, IntegrationHub, and Performance Analytics.
- Familiarity with CMDB, Discovery, Event Management, and Orchestration.
- ServiceNow certifications (e.g., CSA, CIS-ITSM, CIS-ITOM, CIS-HR) are highly preferred.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications :
- Experience working in an Agile development environment.
- Ability to lead development efforts and provide technical direction.
