🍞 Bakery Section

• Assist in preparing bakery items including breads, rolls, pastries, cookies, and cakes.
  
• Measure and mix ingredients as per recipes and chef instructions.
  
• Operate ovens, mixers, and other bakery equipment safely.
  
• Ensure consistency in taste, appearance, and texture of bakery items.
  

🍽️ Continental Cuisine Section

• Support the preparation of soups, sauces, salads, grilled items, and pasta dishes.
  
• Follow standard recipes and assist in mise-en-place.
  
• Plate dishes with attention to presentation and portion control.
  
• Maintain proper storage and labeling of ingredients.
  

🔧 General Responsibilities

• Follow hygiene, food safety, and sanitization standards (as per HACCP/FSSAI guidelines).
  
• Keep workstations clean and organized at all times.
  
• Assist in inventory checks and stock rotation (FIFO).
  
• Minimize wastage and support in cost control measures.
  
• Report any maintenance or equipment issues to the chef-in-charge.
  
• Maintain discipline and grooming standards as per kitchen protocols.
  

Requirements

• Minimum 12 years of experience in bakery and/or continental kitchen in a hotel or standalone restaurant.
  
• Diploma or certification in Culinary Arts or Hotel Management preferred.
  
• Basic knowledge of baking techniques, dough handling, and continental food preparation.
  
• Understanding of kitchen hygiene, food storage, and safety standards.
  
• Ability to work under pressure and in a team.
  
• Willingness to learn and take initiative in a fast-paced kitchen.
  

Desirable Skills

• Creativity in plating and presentation.
  
• Knowledge of international bakery trends and classic continental recipes.
