Assistant/Deputy Manager - Business Analysis (2-6 yrs)

The Deputy Manager, Business Analysis is primarily responsible for working on collections strategy & analytics through data driven insights. It involves using data extraction/analysis tools like SQL, R, Python to perform in-depth analysis and work on the opportunities in the collections business. The role involves making recommendations to improve the business profitability or operational processes based on their analysis, stakeholder management at senior leadership level and presentations. The role is also responsible to own syndication of findings and manage implementation with support.

- Understand end-to-end business processes.

- Independently extract, prepare and analyze gigabytes of data to support business initiatives (e.g. profitability, performance, variance analysis etc).

- Develop solutions with minimal support.

- Develop techniques and computer algorithms for data analysis for making it meaningful and actionable

- Makes recommendations to improve business profitability or processes.

- Estimate opportunity size and develop business case through EDA, segmentation, testing frameworks, statistical techniques.

- Manage implementation of ideas and project plans with minimal support

- Present and share insights and analysis with stakeholders, leadership and peers

- Create and monitor reports to track various tests, initiatives and identify issues, trends, and opportunities

- Coach new team members on technical skills and business knowledge, knowledge and best practice sharing with peers

EDUCATION :

- Bachelor's FIELD OF STUDY : Engineering, Statistics, Economics, Operations, Operations Research

EXPERIENCE :

- 3-4 years of experience of working on analytics driven strategies in an in-house strategy analytics team or a consulting organization.

- Additionally, the candidate should have experience of stakeholder management and client facing at various stages of a project.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES, AND OTHER ATTRIBUTES :

- Knowledge of analytics and statistical tools like SQL, Python, R

- Skilled in problem solving, create data driven frameworks to solve business problems; communication, storyboarding and presentation of their work

- Ability to manage senior level stakeholders and storyboarding
