Work Mode 3 days from Office, 2 days from home

Job Description :

We are seeking an experienced Principal Engineer to help our fast-growing development team in Bangalore, India. You will play an important role and be a part of creating a product used by millions of people.

Responsibilities :

- Design and build advanced web applications for desktop browsers, mobile web & feature phone

- You work in agile cross-functional team to create great customer experiences and implement high quality code in to production

- Work on bug fixing and improving application performance

- Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency

- You prioritize performance in all your development - both network and rendering

Requirements :

- Overall 5+ years of Engineering experience from which at least 2+ years of experience in creating web application backend using

node.js and 1+ of experience in React.JS / PWA

- At least 3 years of experience working with JavaScript, (Semantic) HTML5, CSS3

- Hands-on experience with a MVC framework, such as Backbone.js

- Experience with a utility library, such as Underscore.js, jQuery OR Zepto

- Experience with HTML templating using Jade(now pug)/Mustache/erb, or similar library

- Experience in creating mobile-friendly UIs not only targeting smartphones, but feature phones as well (e.g. Opera Mini devices)

- Understanding of adaptive and responsive design, and the combination of them

- Worked in Agile teams in cross functional teams

- Experience creating automated unit tests and functional test
