Hiring For Business Development Manager

Role & responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients, understanding their business needs, goals, and challenges.
• Collaborate with internal teams, including sales, delivery, and technical support, to ensure alignment with client expectations and project objectives.
• Identify and target new business opportunities through research, networking, and market analysis.
• Develop and execute strategies to acquire new clients and convert them into key accounts.
• Lead client meetings, presentations, and negotiations to close high-value deals.
• Collaborate with internal teams to develop customized solutions that meet client needs.
• Ensure smooth transition of key accounts to the account management team for ongoing support and development.
• Mentor and guide junior business development team members, sharing best practices and providing strategic insights.
• Stay abreast of industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to identify new opportunities.

Preferred candidate profile

• Bachelors degree in business administration, Marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred.
• Extensive experience in enterprise sales, business development, or client engagement roles, particularly within the IT product sales and digital transformation sectors.
• Proven ability to acquire and convert new clients into key accounts.
• Strong leadership skills with experience in managing and mentoring a team.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset and a drive to exceed sales targets.
• Ability to work collaboratively across teams and departments.
