Teqfocus - AWS Data Engineer (7-12 yrs)

Role :

We are seeking an experienced AWS Data Engineer to join our growing data and analytics team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in AWS services, Snowflake, data integration, and event-driven architectures using AWS Lambda and AWS Connect. You will be responsible for building and optimizing data pipelines, integrating multiple data sources, and delivering scalable data solutions in a cloud-native environment.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable and secure data pipelines using AWS Glue, Lambda, Step Functions, and related services.

- Integrate data across various sources and formats, ensuring quality and consistency.

- Develop and manage data warehouse solutions using Snowflake on AWS.

- Work with AWS Connect to integrate customer interaction data into the data ecosystem.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design efficient and robust data solutions.

- Implement best practices for data governance, security, and compliance.

- Optimize existing pipelines for performance and cost-efficiency.

- Monitor and troubleshoot data workflows and system performance issues.

Required Skills and Experience :

- 7+ years of experience in cloud engineering or related roles.

- Strong hands-on experience with AWS services such as Glue, Lambda, S3, Redshift, Step Functions, and CloudWatch.

- Proficiency in Snowflake data warehouse design, performance tuning, and SQL scripting.

- Experience with data integration techniques and tools, including real-time and batch processing.

- Hands on with AWS Connect (Contact Lens) and integrating it with enterprise data platforms.

- Solid understanding of data modeling, ETL design, and orchestration.

- Knowledge of scripting languages like Python or Scala.

- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications :

- AWS Certified Data Analytics Specialty or equivalent certification.

- Experience in agile development environments.

- Background in telecom, e-commerce, or finance domains is a plus.
