Job Summary:
We are looking for a proactive and persuasive Business Development Manager to visit educational institutes, colleges, training centres, and other organisations to generate leads, pitch our services, and convert them into long-term business partnerships. The ideal candidate will have strong people skills, the ability to travel extensively, and a knack for closing deals on the ground.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Conduct regular field visits to educational institutions, coaching centers, and training institutes to pitch our offerings.
2. Generate leads through cold visits, networking, referrals, and follow-ups. Present company services, products, or solutions clearly and confidently to decision-makers (principals, deans, directors, etc.).
3. Understand client needs and customize offerings to suit their requirements. Convert leads into successful business partnerships or sales.
4. Maintain strong post-conversion relationships to ensure client satisfaction and retention. Track and report field activities, visit outcomes, and conversions on a daily/weekly basis.
5. Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding and delivery of services.
6. Achieve assigned targets (monthly/quarterly) for leads, visits, and closures.
7. Attend education fairs, seminars, or conferences as a company representative.
Requirements:
1. Bachelor's degree (any stream); MBA or marketing background is a plus.
2. 1-2 years of experience in B2B sales, institutional sales, or education sales preferred.
3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
4. Willingness to travel locally/regionally as part of the job.
5. Confident, goal-oriented, and persuasive personality.
6. Ability to handle rejection and maintain a positive attitude.
