About the Role:
Transcorp International Ltd. is seeking a highly experienced and dynamic General Manager - Admin to lead and manage comprehensive administrative operations across our diverse portfolio, including trusts, educational institutions, commercial properties, and various group companies. This pivotal role requires a strong understanding of accounts, legal documentation, and property management, with a relentless focus on ensuring compliance, operational efficiency, and the highest standards of upkeep. The General Manager will be instrumental in delivering efficient administration, safeguarding property and institutional integrity, meticulously managing trust activities in line with compliance norms, and providing crucial support to the group's strategic and commercial interests.
Key Responsibilities:
Departmental Activities:
- Provide daily supervision and leadership for property maintenance, housekeeping, security, and all administrative staff across multiple entities.
- Collaborate closely with the finance and accounts teams to accurately track property-related payments, expenses, and financial reports.
- Maintain meticulous records for leases, ensuring timely renewals, and manage all trust deeds, registrations, and associated legal documentation.
- Coordinate effectively with school and college management to ensure smooth daily operations, optimal facility upkeep, and adherence to all regulatory and internal compliance standards.
- Oversee and manage external vendors for infrastructure projects, Annual Maintenance Contracts (AMCs), general repairs, and various facility services.
- Conduct regular and thorough site visits to all properties to ensure operational standards are consistently met and maintained.
- Manage and handle all trust-related formalities and documentation in strict accordance with relevant compliance regulations.
Organizational Activities:
- Provide overarching oversight and strategic direction for administrative functions across all trust-owned, leased, and commercial properties.
- Ensure absolute legal compliance and meticulous documentation for all trust and property-related activities.
- Act as a primary liaison with trustees, legal advisors, auditors, and educational heads, fostering strong working relationships.
- Represent the organization confidently during audits, government interactions, and all regulatory processes.
- Develop, plan, and meticulously oversee administrative budgets, vendor contracts, and drive initiatives for continuous cost optimization.
Qualification & Requirements:
- 10+ years of progressive experience in administrative leadership and property management roles.
- Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
Skills Required:
- Administrative Leadership & Facility Management: Proven ability to lead administrative teams and manage large-scale facilities efficiently.
- Property Documentation & Legal Coordination: Strong expertise in handling property deeds, leases, registrations, and coordinating with legal advisors.
- Trust Management and Compliance: In-depth knowledge of trust formalities and regulatory compliance.
- School / College Operations & Support: Experience or strong understanding of administrative support for educational institutions.
- Basic Accounting Understanding: Ability to understand and support financial tracking and reporting related to properties.
- Travel Readiness - PAN India: Willingness and ability to travel extensively across India for official work.
