Job Description

About the Role: We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Regional Sales Manager to lead and expand our sales operations in the assigned region. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving revenue growth, managing a high-performing sales & clinical team, and developing strong relationships with key stakeholders/distributors etc. in the healthcare industry.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Sales Strategy & Execution:
    • Develop and implement regional sales plans to achieve business objectives.
    • Identify market opportunities, competitor activities, and customer needs to formulate strategies.
  • Team Leadership & Management:
    • Recruit, train, mentor, and manage a team of Territory Sales Managers, Sales Executives and Clinical team.
    • Set sales targets, monitor performance, and provide continuous feedback and guidance.
    • Create a motivating and encouraging environment within the team.
  • Business Development:
    • Identify and engage potential clients, including hospitals, clinics, and healthcare professionals.
    • Foster relationships with key stakeholders such as doctors, procurement managers, and distributors.
    • CME planning and ROI measurement.
  • Customer Relationship Management:
    • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through effective relationship management.
    • Address customer inquiries, concerns, and provide product training as per schedule.
  • Market Analysis & Reporting:
    • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and regional sales performance.
    • Prepare and present regular reports to senior management on sales progress, ROI and challenges.
  • Compliance & Regulations:
    • Ensure adherence to industry regulations, company policies, and ethical practices.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Life Sciences, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 10-15 years of experience in medical device sales, preferably with wound care background with at least 8 years in a managerial role.
  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of the medical device industry, regulatory requirements, and market trends in India.
  • Willingness to travel extensively within the region.
  • Experience in selling medical devices, preferably in the wound care segment.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
