Scrum Master - Logistics

We are seeking a passionate Agilist to join our Agile Release Train as a Scrum Master for the 2.0 IM Transcend release. The ideal candidate will be able to model and foster Agile values while tackling real-world challenges and turning them into opportunities for growth. You will play a crucial role in leading our Scrum teams in the BTP Integration process, specifically focused on supply chain logistics for Quasar.  

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as a Servant Leader: Actively guide the Scrum team to consistently deliver customer value by embodying and modeling Agile principles. 
• Coaching and Mentoring: Educate and coach Agile teams on Scaled Agile practices and values to maximize efficiencies and performance. 
• Facilitate Scrum Events: Organize and ensure effective Scrum events including Daily Stand-ups, Iteration Planning, Refinement sessions, Iteration Reviews, and Retrospectives. 
• Team Empowerment: Coach Agile teams in self-organization, cross-functional skillset development, and continuous improvement to achieve high performance. 
• Collaboration with Product Owners: Work closely with Product Owners to clarify, prioritize, and communicate features and user stories, ensuring understanding across the team. 
• Risk and Impediment Management: Identify and mitigate risks, resolve team impediments, and negotiate dependencies within and across Agile teams. 
• Communication and Transparency: Establish and maintain clear lines of communication to facilitate transparency and progress within the team. 
• Collaboration with Peers: Collaborate with peer Scrum Masters, Release Train Engineers, and Agile Coaches to enhance the effectiveness of Scaled Agile within the organization. 
• Continuous Improvement: Contribute to the advancement and improvement of Agile practices within the Agile Release Train and the organization. 

Role Objectives

• Guide and coach the Scrum Team in using Agile practices to deliver high-quality products and services to customers. 
• Elevate the team's performance by recognizing strengths and areas for improvement, utilizing advanced Agile techniques such as relative estimation, Kanban flow, and user story writing. 
• Ensure that Scrum theory and practices are understood and implemented effectively by the team. 
• Work with both internal and external stakeholders to influence decision-making and support organizational project teams. 
• Collaborate with Agile coaches and other Scrum Masters for continuous personal and team growth. 
• Understand and incorporate risks and controls for highly regulated industries into Scrum activities. 

Qualifications: 

• Proven experience as a Scrum Master leading teams in a software development environment. 
• Strong understanding of Agile practices and principles, particularly the Scrum framework. 
• Experience working with BTP Integration processes, especially in supply chain logistics, is highly desirable. 
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to connect with various stakeholders and teams. 
• Basic knowledge of the software development life cycle (SDLC). 
• Demonstrated ability to identify, mitigate risks, and coach teams through problem-solving. 

Preferred Qualifications

• Certified SAFe Scrum Master, Certified PSM (Professional Scrum Master), or CSM (Certified ScrumMaster). 
• Experience in delivering hands-on training and coaching in Agile practices. 
• Ability to work effectively across multiple Product portfolios and collaborate in a hybrid work environment. 
• Familiarity with other engineering processes and the ability to leverage additional methodologies to enhance team value.
