Material Analyst

Educational Qualification: B.Tech/M.Tech Materials engineering/Polymer science

Position Description: Polymer material expert

Roles Responsibilities:

Selection of rightmaterial process for plastic,rubber, adhesive, foam, gaskets for 2W 3W compoments for ICE Electric vehicles

Work on new technologyprojects in the area of polymer, composites Paints. Should interact withvarious suppliers research institutes for exploration of new technologyideas.

Polymer parts testingclearance using Material characterization techniques( e.g -FTIR, DSC,TGA, XRD, SEM/EDS etc) mechanical testing(e.g. tensile, compressive,shear peal strength measurement) for all new products. Failure analysisof polymer parts to identify the root cause.(ICE EV)

Coordinate with designteams to collect exact mateial requirements to ensure first time right qualityof developed part.

Prepare the reports fornew product development failure analysis.

Work on retained newnessof polymer painted unpainted parts to improve the aesthetics of vehicles

Prepare and release thepolymer material process standards,generate polymer material propertiesas per the requirement

Generate implement cost reduction ideas.
