Quality Assurance Analyst - Backend Automation Testing (5-7 yrs)

We are looking for a skilled QA Analyst - Back end with deep expertise in backend automation, testing frameworks, and performance testing. This is a highly technical QA role focused on ensuring the reliability, scalability, and quality of backend systems.

Must-Have Skills :

To be considered, candidates must have proven experience with :

- Backend Testing Frameworks : Hands-on with pytest, pytest-cov, pytest-mock, pytest-xdist

- API Testing : Using Postman, REST clients, GraphQL testing approaches

- Database Testing : Experience with test containers, in-memory databases, and strong SQL/data validation skills

- Performance Testing : Experience with load testing tools (e.g., JMeter, Locust, or similar), benchmarking backend performance

- Test Doubles : Proficiency with mocking, stubbing, and test isolation techniques for robust automation

- Backend Technologies : Python with FastAPI (or similar backend frameworks)

- Test Strategy : Knowledge of testing pyramid implementation and structured backend testing methodologies

Nice to Have (Preferred) :

- Experience with BDD tools like pytest-bdd

- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and test automation in DevOps workflows

- Awareness of OWASP principles and security testing tools

- Exposure to chaos engineering and resilience testing techniques

- Strong understanding of asynchronous systems and message queues
