Job description

Responsibilities :

- Windows Server Management : Design, implement, and manage Windows Server environments (2016/2019/2022) in both on-premises and cloud infrastructures.

- Virtualization & Cloud Platforms : Deploy and administer virtualized environments using VMware, Hyper-V, and cloud-based solutions (Azure, AWS, GCP).

- Active Directory & Certificate Management : Maintain and support Active Directory, Group Policies, DNS, DHCP, and Certificate Management.

- Patch Management : Manage patching, security updates, and compliance using standard patch management tools.

- Automation & Scripting : Develop automation scripts using PowerShell, Python, Terraform, or Ansible to enhance system efficiency and reduce manual efforts.

- Cisco UCS Management : Support and administer Cisco UCS B & C class servers, including firmware updates and troubleshooting hardware issues.

- Storage & Backup : Provide expertise in Storage (SAN/NAS) and Backup solutions, ensuring optimal performance, reliability, and disaster recovery readiness.

- Cloud Infrastructure : Implement and maintain cloud-based infrastructure on Azure, AWS, and GCP, leveraging best practices for security, scalability, and cost optimization.

- Collaboration : Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure high availability, performance, and resilience of critical BFSI applications.

- Incident Resolution : Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and incident resolution for server, storage, and backup issues.

- Documentation & SOPs : Maintain documentation, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and best practices for system administration.

REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS :

- Experience : 7+ years of experience as a Wintel Engineer or similar role in the BFSI domain.

- Windows Server Administration : Proficiency in Windows Server administration, including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.

- Virtualization Expertise : Strong knowledge of VMware vSphere, Hyper-V, and cloud-based virtualization.

- Active Directory & Security : Experience with Active Directory, LDAP, Certificate Management, and authentication mechanisms.

- Patch Management : Hands-on experience in patch management and vulnerability remediation.

- Scripting Languages : Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell, Python, Terraform, or Ansible.

- Cisco UCS Hardware : Expertise in managing Cisco UCS B & C class hardware.

- Storage & Backup : Strong understanding of enterprise storage (SAN/NAS) and backup solutions (e.g., Veeam, NetBackup, Commvault, Rubrik).

- Cloud Platforms : Experience with Azure, AWS, GCP, and cloud migration strategies.

- Linux Administration : Basic to advanced Linux administration skills for hybrid Windows-Linux environments.

- Business Continuity : Experience with high-availability, disaster recovery, and business continuity planning.

- Security & Compliance : Knowledge of IT security policies, compliance standards, and BFSI regulatory requirements.

- Problem Solving & Troubleshooting : Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.

- Communication : Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
