Senior Network Engineer - Firewall Configuration & Management (8-10 yrs)

We are looking for a Senior Network Engineer to join our dynamic team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the design, architecture, and implementation of network infrastructures.

You will manage connectivity to ISPs and cloud providers, configure cloud-based network devices, and ensure smooth network and firewall connectivity across multiple locations.

Your experience with Cisco and Fortinet devices, combined with strong troubleshooting skills, will be essential in maintaining a secure and efficient network environment.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and architect network solutions based on business needs and technical requirements.

- Implement and configure network devices such as Cisco routers, switches, and firewalls.

- Set up new network connectivity to ISPs and Cloud providers at remote locations.

- Configure cloud-based network devices, ensuring seamless integration with on-premises infrastructure.

- Troubleshoot network and firewall connectivity issues, ensuring quick resolution with minimal downtime.

- Continuously monitor the network for performance and security issues, resolving them proactively.

- Manage and configure firewalls, particularly Fortinet, ensuring they meet the organizations security standards.

- Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that network architecture aligns with business goals.

- Provide guidance to junior network engineers and support teams in resolving complex network issues.

- Maintain accurate network topology diagrams, configurations, and documentation for compliance and troubleshooting purposes.

Required Qualifications :

- 8+ years of networking experience, with significant hands-on experience in network architecture, design, and implementation.

- 5+ years of experience specifically in firewall configuration and management.

- Good knowledge of CCIE.

- Strong hands-on experience with Cisco devices.

- In-depth knowledge and experience with Fortinet firewalls.

- BSc or MSc degree in Computer Science or Engineering.

- Experience with Arista Networking and Cloud Vision.

- Experience with Cisco ACI or fabric solutions is desirable.

- Additional industry certifications, such as CCNP, CompTIA Network+, or AWS Certified Solutions Architect, are advantageous.

- Familiarity with Routing, Switching, Firewalls, Load Balancers, and SD-WAN technologies
