Security Support Engineer (7-10 yrs)

Job Summary :

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Security Support Engineer to implement and maintain robust security measures across applications and APIs. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in LDAP, token-based authentication, HTTPS setup, and data protection techniques like masking and tokenization.

Key Responsibilities :

- Implement LDAP-based authentication mechanisms across applications.

- Set up token-based authentication for secure API and web service access.

- Configure and enforce HTTPS protocols for web applications and APIs.

- Apply data masking and tokenization to protect sensitive data.

- Prevent unauthorized access through secure logging and access control mechanisms.

- Implement strategies to prevent data leakage, including maintaining centralized metadata and role-based access with approval workflows.

- Collaborate with DevOps and development teams to enforce security best practices.

Required Skills :

- Experience with LDAP, OAuth2, JWT, or similar authentication systems.

- Knowledge of HTTPS configuration, web service security, and data encryption.

- Familiarity with data masking, tokenization, and access control tools.

- Experience in managing security logs and conducting audits.

- Strong understanding of data privacy, compliance, and application security principles.
