Job Overview :

We are hiring for an SD-WAN L3 Network Engineer for a full-time position with NTT Data, a leading global IT services provider. As an SD-WAN L3 Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, optimizing, troubleshooting, and managing SD-WAN infrastructure, ensuring high performance, scalability, and security across enterprise-level networks.

Key Responsibilities :

- Advanced Troubleshooting : Resolve complex SD-WAN and network issues that are escalated from L1/L2 engineers, leveraging deep knowledge of SD-WAN technologies.

- Network Design and Architecture : Design and implement scalable, secure, and highly available SD-WAN architectures for enterprise environments.

- Performance Optimization : Monitor, analyze, and optimize network performance to ensure smooth SD-WAN operations.

- Security Management : Implement and manage SD-WAN security solutions such as firewalls, VPNs, and IDS/IPS.

- Policy Management : Develop and enforce network policies related to QoS (Quality of Service) and traffic management.

- Collaboration and Leadership : Work closely with cross-functional IT teams, lead network projects, and provide mentorship to L1/L2 engineers.

- Vendor Management : Work with SD-WAN vendors to coordinate updates, troubleshooting, and new deployments.

- Documentation and Reporting : Maintain clear and detailed documentation of network configurations, performance metrics, and change logs.

- Compliance and Auditing : Ensure SD-WAN infrastructure adheres to company standards and complies with internal and external regulations.

Required Skills :

- SD-WAN Expertise : At least 3+ years of hands-on experience with SD-WAN technologies such as Cisco Viptela, Versa, Silver Peak, etc.

- L3 Support : 56 years of experience in L3 network support, including troubleshooting, designing, and optimizing network infrastructures.

- Networking Protocols : Deep understanding of protocols such as TCP/IP, VPNs, BGP, OSPF, MPLS, and routing.

- Certifications : SD-WAN-related certifications (Cisco Viptela, Versa, Silver Peak) or other networking certifications are highly preferred.

- Security Knowledge : Experience with network security technologies such as firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection/prevention systems.

- Tools : Familiarity with network management and monitoring tools, particularly for SD-WAN solutions.
