Senior Engineer/Technical Lead - Microcontroller (3-5 yrs)

About the Job :

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Hardware Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in all stages of the hardware product development lifecycle, with expertise in microcontroller-based architecture design, analog and mixed-signal design, and power supply design.

The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing hardware solutions, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and utilizing various design tools and lab instruments.

Responsibilities :

- Design and develop hardware solutions throughout the entire product development lifecycle, from concept to production.

- Design microcontroller-based architectures using ST, Microchip, and TI microcontrollers.

- Develop analog and mixed-signal circuits, including ADC and DAC circuit design and signal conditioning.

- Design analog circuits using operational amplifiers and discrete components.

- Design AC to DC and DC to DC power supplies.

- Implement and integrate communication interfaces, including RS232, RS485, I2C, SPI, UART, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth (BT), and Zigbee.

- Ensure Electromagnetic Interference (EMI) / Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) compliance for products, with a focus on automotive standards.

- Utilize various design tools, including ORCAD, ALLEGRO, ALTIUM, and PADS, for schematic capture, PCB layout, and simulation.

- Utilize laboratory instruments, including multi-meters, oscilloscopes, function generators, and logic analyzers, for testing and validation.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software, mechanical, and manufacturing, to ensure successful product development and launch.

- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware-related issues during development and production.

- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in hardware technologies and industry trends.

Skills :

- Hardware Product Development Lifecycle : Expertise in all stages of hardware product development.

- Microcontroller Architecture Design : Proficient in designing microcontroller-based architectures using ST, Microchip, and TI.

- Analog and Mixed Signal Design : Strong knowledge of analog and mixed-signal circuit design, including ADC and DAC.

- Signal Conditioning : Expertise in signal conditioning techniques.

- Operational Amplifier Design : Proficient in designing circuits using operational amplifiers.
