Job Description
Role & responsibilities
The Student Counsellor will be responsible for promoting the mental well-being of students, providing psychological counselling, handling student concerns related to academic pressure, personal issues, stress, anxiety, and promoting a healthy and inclusive campus environment.
Preferred candidate profile
- Masters Degree in Psychology / Clinical Psychology / Counselling Psychology or equivalent from a recognized university.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in student counselling or mental health support in an educational institution.
- Strong communication, interpersonal and empathetic listening skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive issues effectively.
- Certification in psychological counselling or mental health shall be an added advantage.
Salary: Shall Commensurate with Experience and ability
