Test Engineer - UFT/QTP (1-3 yrs)

Position : UFT/QTP Test Engineer

Mode : Contract (Minimum 6 months, extendable based on performance)

Experience : 13 Years

Location : Sholinganallur, Chennai (Hybrid Minimum 2 days/week from office)

No. of Openings : 1

Notice Period : Immediate to 15 days preferred

Interview Rounds :

- L1 : Virtual

- L2 : Face-to-Face (Mandatory in Chennai)

Bill Rate : 2025% on current CTC

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using UFT (Unified Functional Testing).

- Work on functional and regression testing for assigned modules.

- Analyze business requirements and translate them into detailed test cases.

- Perform defect tracking, reporting, and ensure issue closure in collaboration with development teams.

- Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement of QA practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience with UFT/QTP.

- Strong understanding of VBScript.

- Good grasp of software testing principles and methodologies.

- Familiarity with Agile and SDLC processes.

- Basic exposure to version control systems like Git or SVN.

- Experience using test management tools like JIRA, TestRail.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Good communication and collaboration abilities.

Nice to Have :

- ISTQB or equivalent certification

- Experience in banking or financial domain testing
