Job Summary :We are seeking an experienced Informatica IICS ETL Developer to design, develop, and manage complex ETL solutions for high-volume data processing and migration projects. The ideal candidate will have expertise in SQL, PowerCenter, IICS, scheduling tools like Control M or Automic, and hands-on experience with DataStage jobs. This role demands proficiency in data warehousing concepts, performance optimization, and technical presentations to stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities :ETL Development and Data Processing :- Design and implement efficient ETL solutions using Informatica PowerCenter- and - IICS- to handle complex data transformations and pipelines. - Develop and manage high-volume data loads and data migrations with optimal performance and error handling. - Perform data sourcing, mapping, and coding- for robust ETL workflows, ensuring accuracy and consistency in data processing. - Design and enhance Dimensional Models while applying Slowly Changing Dimension (SCD)- logic effectively.Performance Optimization :

- Optimize ETL performance through statistics collection , explain plan analysis, and query tuning. - Implement techniques for creating table partitions , indexes , views , and materialized views- to improve data retrieval and processing efficiency.

Scheduling and Job Management :- Build and manage complex DataStage jobs and sequences, incorporating best practices for error handling and performance tuning. - Use scheduling tools such as Control M or Automic to automate ETL workflows and ensure timely data processing. Analysis and Reporting :- Conduct requirements analysis and translate business needs into technical specifications. - Create and deliver technical and functional presentations for project teams and client stakeholders. Code Enhancement and Troubleshooting :- Analyze and enhance existing ETL code to meet evolving business requirements. - Troubleshoot data processing issues, ensuring system integrity and resolving failures promptly. Qualifications :Technical Skills :- Proficiency in SQL, PowerCenter, and IICS for advanced ETL design and implementation. - Experience with scheduling tools (e.g., Control M, Automic) for workflow automation. - Expertise in Data Warehousing concepts , including dimensional modeling and data transformation. - Strong knowledge of SCD logic and its application in data processing. - Experience creating and optimizing - complex DataStage jobs- and managing sequences. - Hands-on experience with performance tuning , explain plans, and database optimization techniques. - Familiarity with creating and managing table partitions , indexes , views , and materialized views .Soft Skills :- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail. - Excellent communication skills for effectively conveying technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences. - Ability to collaborate in cross-functional teams and work in fast-paced environments.Preferred Qualifications :- Experience in handling large datasets and high-volume data processing. - Knowledge of big data technologies is a plus. - Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS or Azure for data integration and processing.
