About the Role :

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Software Engineer Java to join our team in Pune. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Java development, a solid understanding of Kafka, multithreading, microservices, and Spring Boot, and will be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment focused on building low-latency, high-volume applications.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable and high-performance applications using Java (Java 8/11).

- Build microservices architecture using Spring Boot and integrate with enterprise systems.

- Develop solutions that are highly concurrent, low-latency, and can handle high-throughput data processing.

- Implement and optimize Kafka-based data streaming pipelines and messaging solutions.

- Leverage multithreading and asynchronous programming techniques to enhance performance.

- Collaborate with DevOps for CI/CD pipeline development and test automation (Shift-left testing).

- Work with relational databases (Oracle, Sybase IQ, DB2) and write efficient SQL.

- Participate in systems design discussions, code reviews, and contribute to best practices.

- Take ownership and initiative in client-facing roles and team interactions.

- Strong proficiency in Java 8 (Java 11 preferred) Lambda expressions, Stream API, CompletableFuture, etc.

- Experience with Apache Kafka including core concepts, replication, reliability, internals, and data durability.

- In-depth knowledge of multithreading and concurrency.

- Solid experience in Microservices development using Spring Boot.

- Experience in building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, Sonar).

- Experience in asynchronous programming and API design.

- Proficiency with SQL and relational databases.

- Strong understanding of systems design, data modeling, and data enrichment.

Nice-to-Have Skills :

- Familiarity with Golang and/or Rust.

- Experience with cloud platforms preferably AWS.

- Exposure to rules engines such as Drools.

- Experience with CMS tools like Adobe AEM.

- Familiarity with search tools such as Algolia, ElasticSearch, or Solr.

- Knowledge of big data tools like Apache Spark.

Soft Skills :

- Strong verbal and written communication skills.

- Ability to interface with clients and stakeholders effectively.

- Self-starter with strong problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude.

Skills :

- Sonar

- Jenkins

- Drools or any rules engine experience

- CMS tools like Adobe AEM
