Job Summary:
- We're looking for an accomplished and dynamic Head of B2B Sales & Marketing to lead our strategic growth initiatives within the solar energy sector.
- This pivotal role requires a visionary leader with a proven track record of driving significant revenue growth through impactful B2B sales and innovative marketing strategies.
- The ideal candidate will be responsible for expanding our market footprint, securing high-value corporate partnerships, and firmly establishing our company as a leader in sustainable energy solutions for businesses, industries, and institutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Corporate Tie-Ups & Business Development:
- Identify and Onboard Key Clients: Proactively identify, target, and onboard new B2B clients, including diverse industries, large corporates, and institutions, for tailored solar energy solutions.
- Strategic Relationship Management: Develop, nurture, and maintain robust, long-term relationships with key stakeholders, including government bodies, large enterprises, and financial institutions, to foster enduring partnerships.
- High-Value Contract Negotiation: Structure, negotiate, and close high-value contracts that effectively - meet complex client energy requirements and contribute significantly to revenue targets.
Market Expansion & Brand Presence:
- Global Market Expansion: Strategically strengthen the company's presence in both domestic and international markets through targeted initiatives and partnership development.
- Industry Representation: Act as a key ambassador for the company, representing us at prominent industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events to enhance visibility and forge new connections.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including operations, engineering, and finance, to ensure sales strategies are aligned with market trends, product capabilities, and overall business objectives.
Sales & Marketing Strategy Execution:
- Omni-channel Lead Generation: Drive aggressive lead generation campaigns through diverse online channels (digital marketing, LinkedIn, webinars) and offline channels (roadshows, direct sales, industry events).
- Brand & Content Leadership: Oversee comprehensive branding initiatives, impactful content marketing strategies, and effective Public Relations (PR) efforts to position the company as a recognized thought leader in the solar energy space.
- Industry Platform Leverage: Strategically leverage industry-specific platforms such as Steel Mint and other relevant forums to effectively promote our services and solutions to target audiences.
Client Retention & After-Sales Service Excellence:
- Enhance Client Satisfaction: Implement strategies to significantly improve after-sales support and service delivery, ensuring consistently high client satisfaction.
- Feedback & Experience Enhancement: Establish and manage effective feedback mechanisms to continuously enhance the overall customer experience and drive long-term client retention.
- Loyalty & Engagement Programs: Develop and roll out client loyalty programs and long-term engagement strategies to foster enduring relationships and repeat business.
Product & Service Innovation:
- Market Research & Opportunity Identification: Conduct thorough market research to identify emerging gaps, unmet needs, and lucrative opportunities for new product and service offerings in the solar energy market.
- Customized Solution Development: Work in close collaboration with the technical and engineering teams to develop innovative, customized solar solutions that precisely meet the unique energy requirements of B2B clients.
- New Offering Launches: Strategically plan and execute the launch of new services and products that are well-aligned with evolving industry demands and technological advancements.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Education: Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a specialization in Marketing, Sales, or Business Administration, or an equivalent advanced degree from a reputable institution.
- Experience: Minimum of 15 years of progressive experience in B2B sales and marketing, with a strong preference for candidates from the solar/renewable energy, EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction), or industrial services sectors.
- Track Record: Proven track record of success in securing high-value corporate tie-ups, expert contract negotiations, and delivering substantial revenue growth.
- Network: Possess a strong, established professional network within the energy, manufacturing, infrastructure, or related industrial sectors.
- Technical Proficiency: Demonstrated expertise in digital marketing strategies, lead generation methodologies, and proficient use of CRM (Customer Relationship Management) tools.
