Job Summary :

We are hiring a highly talented and experienced Wireless Engineer to join our Global Architecture team. As a core member of a small group of technology experts, you will be at the heart of one of the largest services within our global organization. You will identify, recommend, and implement innovative solutions and best practices to continuously improve, expand, and protect our core server and systems supporting multiple large services and all our associates worldwide, with a specialized focus on cutting-edge wireless networking solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

- Exhibit expert knowledge in Wireless RF design and wireless network design for large enterprise environments with extensive branch networks.

- Provide advanced troubleshooting for complex WLAN issues, identifying root causes and implementing effective, lasting solutions.

- Lead and execute large-scale WLAN migration projects and complex Post-Deployment Integration PDI and optimization engagements.

- Drive the adoption and implementation of cutting-edge WiFi6 technologies across the enterprise wireless infrastructure.

- Possess deep hands-on product knowledge and experience with Wi-Fi 6 access points, Catalyst 9800 wireless controllers, and Cisco DNA Center DNAC.

- Identify, recommend, and implement innovative solutions and best practices to continuously improve, expand, and protect our core wireless server and systems.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of wireless solutions with other IT infrastructure components.

- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for wireless network designs, configurations, and troubleshooting procedures.

- Ensure the wireless infrastructure is highly available, secure, and performant to meet business demands globally.

Required Skills and Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.

- 6-10 years of progressive experience in wireless networking engineering and architecture.

- Expert knowledge in Wireless RF design principles and wireless network design for large-scale enterprise environments.

- Proven experience in troubleshooting complex WLAN issues and performance bottlenecks.

- Must have significant experience in WLAN migration and implementation projects.

- Demonstrable experience in leading large WLAN migration projects and complex PDI and optimization engagements.

- In-depth technical knowledge and hands-on experience with WiFi6 technology.

- Hands-on product knowledge and experience with Wi-Fi 6 access points, Cisco Catalyst 9800 wireless controllers, and Cisco DNA Center DNAC.

- Solid communication skills, both written and spoken, to effectively collaborate with stakeholders and document solutions.

Preferred Skills :

- Experience with Python and API for network automation and integration.

- Familiarity with Ekahau Pro/Sidekick usage for wireless site surveys and design.

- Experience with Cisco Identity Services Engine ISE deployment and configuration.

- Relevant industry certifications CCIE Wireless, CCNP Wireless, CWNP.
