Job Description
The Sr. DevOps Engineer is responsible for the continuous improvement and automation of Zones build processes. The role also requires working across multiple teams and ensuring the CI/CD processes are embedded in the organization. Designing and developing new pipelines, solutions to branching strategies, showcasing the overall health and versioning of entire systems in a custom code, packaged application world spanning .NET and Java and other technologies is a key component of the responsibilities
In addition, the Sr. Sr. DevOps Engineer will maintain and update the release calendar, ensuring proper approval workflows are enforced. This role also requires the Sr. DevOps Engineer to take responsibility for maintaining all release-related artifacts. The Sr. DevOps Engineer will execute or assist with deployments and assist in resolving potential deployment conflicts and provide suggestions on mitigating future problems.
Key Responsibilities
1) Setting up CI/CD Pipeline for .net with azure dev-ops project(Both Classic and YAML)
2) Implement code quality checks as part of pipelines.
3) Familiarize with following azure services VM, Storage account, Key vault, Service Bus,
Application insight, App services, Application gateway, APIM, AKS, ACR
4) Familiarize the use of Terraform for IAC.
5) Basic of Azure networking(Virtual network, Subnet, Public IP Address, DNS, CIDR, NIC,
Azure Firewall,NSG ).
6) Basics of linux commands and powershell scripting.
7) Knowledge of Git version control, branching strategies
8) Linux basics, Command Line and basics of powershell scripting
9) Kubernetes concepts, Kubectl and dockerfile
10) Metrics and alerting using Azure Monitor
