Till I was 26, my dad rejected every marriage proposal based on horoscopes. I fought with him so many times, why are we letting astrology decide my life?

Then people started coming to see me. Around 8 families met me… and all rejected me. One even said, “we want someone fair-skinned” the guy wasn’t even earning well. Funny thing? 
That same family is now approaching us again… because he got laid off. 🙃

I don’t know why I keep getting rejected. Maybe because I’m introverted? Maybe I don’t dress up how they expect?
I’m not flashy. I’m just… me.

But every time someone says no, I feel like I’m falling behind.
I’m aging. My parents are blaming me.
Guys in their 30s aren’t even accepting matrimony requests.
It’s exhausting.

I used to think, as a girl, I should adjust to my husband’s family. But now? I don’t even want to meet anyone.

At this point, love marriage feels better than this emotionally draining arranged process.

I’m 28, unmarried, and tired of being “evaluated.”

Been prepping like crazy, using chatgpt to save time, rehearsing everything still getting rejected or, worse, ghosted

And it hurts even more when you walk out thinking,
“That went well!” and then nothing. No reply. No feedback. Just silence.

I’m not even someone who wings it. Before each interview, I go through all the usual stuff Tell me about yourself, Why this role/company?, Strengths & weaknesses ,Career plans ,What do you know about us?

Earlier, I used to spend 2-3 hours prepping for each interview.
Now I use chatgpt to help me prep smarter it saves time but… still the same result.

What’s worse? Most interviews were via recruitment agencies, so I never got a chance to ask: “Hey, what went wrong?”
Just... ghosted. And left overthinking everything.

I’m at a point where I’m questioning everything,  Am I saying something wrong?,  Do I sound too rehearsed?  Is it my face? My voice? My vibe?

I know I’m not alone in this... right I need that hope right now

I was working on a PPT and grabbing some links from old Teams chats…

And suddenly I noticed my colleague was online and presenting at around 2 PM. I was like okay cool, normal. Then I saw my office bestie was also online and in some meeting. Her status was also "In a call" at the same time. 

Now I didn’t think much of it the first time… but for 4-5 days straight, same thing. SAME time. SAME online status. 

I obviously acted all casual and chatted with both of them separately (don’t judge me 😭), and from our convos… I know there’s something brewing. I haven’t asked directly, but I’m like 99% sure they’re talking to each other daily on Teams and telling their families it’s “some office project.” 💀

Teams has officially replaced dating apps 😭
