I worked at Antal as a recruiter for 1.6 years, Overall, it was a positive experience with many learning opportunities. The company offers excellent training programs that helped me grow my skills in recruitment and consulting.

Dislikes

Some internal processes could be streamlined to improve efficiency & at times, the work culture felt overlay dominating, with decision often being top-down without sufficient input from all team members. Some HR policies and procedures could be more transparent and consistency applied.

Everything. It felt like home from day 1. The whole team made sure I had all the support I required and trained me so well, that in a short period I was well-versed with many aspects of the trade. Though I worked from home for most of my time here, they made sure I was a part of the tribe. If you want to grow professionally, this is where you can build a strong foundation as a fresher. Your team lead will go that extra mile for you, push you to achieve the potential you never knew you had. I've worked closely with Joseph Devasia (Joe), the Managing Director of the Antal India Network and I have never seen such a humble person. He will be there for you, to guide and help you at every step. Whenever I hit a roadblock, he was always there to make sure I got over it. He's super fun and highly motivated. His energy is so contagious that you will be filled with positivity by just being around him. I've been lucky to work very closely with the Training Director of the India Network - Shinu Jose. She's been my guardian angel. Often, we complicate our problems by dwelling upon it, she just knows how to help you snap out of that vicious circle and get you doing simple things that make life 100 times easier. The team is here to support you, give you all the training and help you need. All you need to do is ask for it. While the first month is devoted to training and a slow dive into recruitment, the second month onward you will be given responsibilities, little by little. If you have the privilege of working from the office, look around and learn. Such experienced people with so much knowledge - a library of books will fall short. It's been wonderful working here, so much so that it's become a second home and I have made friends who actually care for me, This is rare in the corporate world. The training was very good but there was extra over load of assignments.

Dislikes

No answers to questions asked. Just receiving answers like do it on your own. Complete havoc for beginners planning for staffing and recruitment.

Training is the only thing which helps the Freshers to go on call and handle the objection confidently.

Dislikes

Antal works on franchise model, thus every owner have his owns terms and policies. No standard policies, poor compensation structure and deduction, poor job security and growth. The management is very biased and do not respect their current or former employees.
