Some people's working as per the company standard helping others to grow and some staff also promoting to store manager.

They are forcing SM and SP to work for 12 hours and more, and sometime they are forcing to work without weekoff , Bata management sending store manager get school order in school season, they are manipulating with Staff check in and check out data also, they terminating senior employee without any information or notice .job security is very poor in Bata, if any one raise the voice they will Target that guys and terminate from the company...Read More

Nothing to like in this company. Maybe the company may have good work culture outside India.But here it sucks big time.

I am really disappointed with the work culture. Only the Store Managers falls under company payroll and the other store associates falls under third party payroll and due to this,if there is any cash or stock shortage, the Store Manager becomes liable for everything. The store Manager has to pay from his pocket all the shortages,orelse FIR will be raised from the company. Be careful, I have seen many SM suffering due to someone else's mistake . The company may seem like an MNC but in real life it's worse than a local Kirana shop....Read More

There is nothing specific that can be liked about the company.Management is not supportive.

Dislikes

No cameras in most of the stores.Manager is solely responsible for the upkeep of stock and cash.Manager has to do 12 hours shift because of this and has to compromise on his week offs.If shortage is more than a lakh,company threatens to give FIR.

Well they do not have any structure no one survive more than 1 year.

Being store manager you are responsible for every thing and your sale associate works on 3rd party payroll any mischief done by them results in shrink which is bear by store manager.
