Working in Biocon Ltd. as a business executive was very special to me because this is a science driven organization & if any one join here he/ she learn a good science about the products due to its extra ordinary time bound training method & product refresher course program. We all working for generating sales but here you can learn some thing extra which can be presentable in front of others. 2nd one it's working culture was so good that you don't felling any hesitation regarding sales & in eastern zone there are no fake base are maintained. When work & learning is together takes place then the work satisfaction is a bit more than other company reps. But presently a new management take over the responsibilities & their consent of selling is totally rubbish. Need less to mentioned that in east zone fake base is growing due to less secondary & company higher key announced bonus on critical care product which is increasing closing stock leaps & bounce and very soon sales will be managed

It was good working with people Because i worked in a department with full of guys they treat girls very well. Though i was not provided a proper trainer due to my trainers health , i managed to learn as much as possible and my co-workers were ready to help and teach. As i worked as project trainee i didn't get any appraisal or increase in the salary. The people around Biocon are good but few experienced people treat trainees according to their mood. And the lunch they provide was good ,healthy.

Dislikes

The senior people of other department think that its their company and i was treated ill sometimes.

Actually in the beginning it was interesting but later it was boring.

It is a good option to start your career. But don't waste your time by working for longer time. Just look a good option and switch as soon as possible.

Dislikes

Management is so arrogant, no new products in their pipeline to launch in marketing, have very pathetic marketing strategy, deducting unnecessary money from your already spent expenses to increase company's sale. They want sale according to latest marketing trend but with salary and expenses according to 12 years back. So don't waste your talent here.

I like teammates, they are very good at teaching in field, manager is supportive, learning wise it's good in field as well as documentation part but not up to the mark, salary is ok, work environment is good.

Dislikes

If they won't give opportunity in company to become a employee then outside getting job is very difficult, growth wise it's terrible if we won't job in same company itself

Biocon provides an excellent interface in the field of Biosimilars/biopharmaceuticals.The good part is the employee gets a wide exposure to different fields. It's good place to learn, especially for freshers. If you are seeking to grow in development science(R&D,) then Biocon is a place to be for sure.

Dislikes

The growth is low, especially in R&D, compensation is decent, 20-25%hike is good. Some managers do not care about an individual, but then it is case to case basis.

Biocon is a only brand name. I don't know about Bangalore campus, but i know vizag plant. I did job on Vizag plant as a microbiologist , they give a chance for learning but other things is too terrible working hours more than 10 hours minimum daily. Work life balance is nothing no week off no holiday. Managers didn't make proper plan. HR are fully worst they did not solve any problems.

Career growth , Very bad paymasters, Bosses does mistakes but never accepts, Biocon sees other companies pattern in Salary hike (say 6-7%) they will accept, but they will not accept the pattern of removing Bell Curve system of appraisal

Co-workers are good, good work culture, learnt a lot here. The workplace was very calm. Provide excellent opportunities to learn & perform. Adequate training on required skills is provided. Free atmosphere for work. Flexibility in timings. Overall good learning experience.

Dislikes

Salary packages are not updated with market and salary increements are less compared to other employer, other than that there were not many issues.

Working with Insulin , 2nd largest Insulin producer in the World, Doctor's/Kols' acceptance is good .Need to develop more in terms of Employee benifit and compensation TA/DA and others .....

Dislikes

HO Process is too slow and compensation benefit not upto the mark in terms of Organisation as a brand image in the market .
