You will learn a lots of new gen ai skills Work life balance is not that bad while comparing to other consulting firms People are helpful to some extent Depending to teams you will get Hybrid mode

Dislikes

Company culture is not that great. Managers/Senior Managers are not reachable. People are not much empathetic here Performance evaluation process is not proper. Taking leave or planning WFH can be challenging here due to lack of communication

EY GDS is not what I was used to be prior covid. Many things have changed, too much internal politics, Team size have gone big which is impacting the overall culture and people have come up with their own ways to woo the higher managers/leadership and get a floor visibility. So its a harsh truth but yes its a fact.

Dislikes

People who are working here for more than 12-15 years have now moved to a leadership position. Now all they themselves are interested in pursuing their own hobbies (oustside work e.g. Yogam Travelling, Blogging, Youtube, etc) and expect juniors to work 24x7

There is no like factor remain in EY. Highly negative environment. Management create wierd plans so that you make mistakes and escalations could be raised.

Politics Zero work life balance: you could be asked to cancel your approved leave and forced to work on festival like Holi and a night before Diwali. What worse you can think. Your body just left to work and zero time for your kids. Long hour meetings which could last till 1am. Post that you know you have pending task to complete otherwise escalations would come. You have to respect your juniors but they're allowed to disobey you. Their failure is your fault....Read More
