- ICAR provides a great opportunity to connect with the best researchers in the field of agriculture in India. - ICAR also provides wide-ranging research facilities in all it's institutes, including arable fields mimicking different soil conditions and climate, well-equipped laboratories, high-speed internet facilities and a research-conducive work environment. -There is a good work-life balance in all ICAR institutes. ICAR is very particular about its office timings being 9:00 am to 5:30 pm. -Staff members are largely supportive and open to suggestions and modifications that lead to better results. -The organisation along with the institutes under its umbrella provide ample scope and opportunities for collaboration and brainstorming ideas for ensuring food security for the future....Read More

Frankly, there is not much to dislike about working in ICAR. If we are nit-picking then -The salary structures between contractual and tenured individuals for similar work profiles is a little disproportionate and do need to be looked into. - The project leads' intense focus on work and research sometimes creates insensitivity towards the lower level workers and their professional obligations....Read More

I really don't have any issues. Any job will have worse situations than we experience here.I enjoy my job and its simply superb. I love ICAR... and my job

Team mates are ok , as such initial training is good at NAARM but implementation is not as per ,what we are exposed to during training, job security is fine, salary and apparaisal are just ok however apparaisal needs modification it should be as per the duties assigmed and place of posting, travel part is fine and there is learning and work environment if placed in proper working group.Their is oppertunity for innovation, and work -life balance can be maintained during service...Read More
