I do not find anything to be disliked about working in IOT.

Only one thing can be beneficial that is name of Indian Oil . This is the only reason why people join this company.

Dislikes

MD himself tells employee that he cannot give a career growth. The culture here is to spend comapny money in the name of leadership program which has no outcomes. They will spend lakhs on it but will never increase salary for employee. The culture here is to terminate employee with salary of 20k per month and recruit another in the same position with a higher salary. This is purely community driven company. If you are a tamilian then your side is safe....Read More

Good work environment and culture. Teammates are supportive and the management is transparent.

Dislikes

appraisals are not fair and they don't give good salary hike and bonus every year.

The job is quite interesting! I struggled a bit in the beginning as there was no formal training session. I learnt everything on the job. I got a chance to wear multiple hats and that helped me get a taste of different roles within the same team.

I enjoyed working with this company at Advisory level. Company maintains global level work culture & ethics as mostly controlled by Oil tanking , Germany. Company passed through a very critical transformation stage and still working out its business module.

Dislikes

Lack of transparency about companies business model which leads to uncertainty of employees future. Right now it is not a ideal company for long term association. Lot of highly paid top level executives are white elephant.
