Dislikes

No work life balance, dumb and orthodox rules about dress code, for example wearing Saree for female faculties are mandatory, which is very impractical and unnecessary at some point.

Corporate culture. Bus to commute is free.

Dislikes

Rude attenders. Rude and abusive lawn movers of Golf of Course. Have to jump across a gutter to reach academic blocks. Transportation politics by bus coordinators. New students joining 1 st year will be accommodated while old faculty will be kicked out even though new students boards ahead of the stops from where faculty boards the bus. And management supports students. Some faculty are overloaded and some are enjoying without any work. Non stop accreditation preparing files. HODs want to save their position and be in the goodbooks of everyone including management to attenders but some faculty. Pensioner's paradise with least work. Mentoring and Project centric learning approaches have been made monstrous. Internal marks and External marks are made equal 50 and 50. For internals, out of 50, written test carries only 15, then other 35 from assignments, mcq, blended/experiential learning not at all suitable to engineering courses. Even if the student is absent for internal tests, he can score 30+ out of 50. But once he/she graduate will have to work a lot because of weak or nil basic knowledge and will be a good fit for event management....Read More

No work pressure, whatsoever. Salary is on time. Incentives are good and the appraisal is decent.

Dislikes

Student centred. The management insists that we give free attendance and marks even if the student does not attend a single class or internal exam. There is no question of failing students. No scope for learning. FDPs are less and the job is monotonous with no activities or fests. Need to keep following up on issues with the HR for your concerns to be resolved. News/updates do not come through official communication channel and there is extreme salary disparity....Read More

Worst experience, highly internal politics. Jain is collab with hetic and mba esg both are worst institutions with terrible managers and staff. Unethical environment. Totally corrupt CEO and HODS. No job security, worst university.

I didn't like anything about Jain University.

Dislikes

Miles Education does the hiring for Jain University. They makes you false promises. The Kanakpura Campus itself is about 70-75 kms from major areas of Bangalore. They will mention in the offer letter that they follow one month notice period policy. However, when you will go to join the university, they will ask you to submit YOUR ORIGINAL DEGREE CERTIFICATES, WHICH THEY CLAIM TO RETURN AFTER SIX MONTHS. They will never mention this to you before you come to join the university. Dang!!! Once you go to join the university after traveling 1000-2000 kms, they try to make you submit your original documents, otherwise, they will not let you join the university. THESE PEOPLE ARE SCAMSTERS. DO NOT FALL FOR THEIR FALSE PROMISES....Read More
