If you're thinking about joining LCX, take a long pause. Not everything that glitters in crypto is gold. Sometimes, it's just broken glass dressed as opportunity. LCX presents itself as a “leading European crypto exchange,” but behind the branding lies a dysfunctional, toxic work culture where survival depends not on merit but on your ability to lie, deflect, and gaslight as well as they do. I was asked to relocate across states with just 15 days’ notice an uprooting that came at my personal cost. They covered barely a fraction of the expense. I complied, trusting the promise of stability. But within weeks of joining, while still on probation, I received a cold termination email. No explanation. No human conversation. Just a silent execution of a role they themselves created and then erased. When I asked for my final dues, I was met with rehearsed lines: “This week.” “Tomorrow.” “We’ll get back to you.” They didn’t. For over 45 days, I was lied to, ignored, and emotionally drained trying to retrieve what was legally mine. It was only after relentless follow-ups that I received my FNF with deductions that made no logical or ethical sense. No apology. No compensation. Just indifference. Let’s talk about the culture. LCX is not a place where good work is rewarded. It’s a place where the loudest manipulators survive. Teams function without clarity. The marketing department is a hollow shell, directionless, scattered, and completely out of touch with purpose or performance. You're handed vague briefs, unclear KPIs, and if you dare ask for clarity, you're branded "difficult." Collaboration is replaced by backchanneling. Communication is political, not professional. Leadership thrives in chaos, and those who endure do so by replicating it. Those with ethics, integrity, and real ambition? They burn out or worse, get discarded like I was. Since sharing my story publicly, dozens of former LCX employees have reached out, confirming this is not an isolated incident. Managers ask you for work even in holidays, saturday sunday just to see the dedication. No work is going on in the marketing team. All growth numbers are fake, manipulated. They behave well with new employees and when you trust them, you are traped! They raise behavioural issue. Now they can terminate you or you will be a slave of the PR manager. Micro Management, main manager will poke u every hour asking for work - they call u on weekends, won't let you leave office, v.strict HR policies(cut half day salary upon arriving late), stubborn HR, like they'll ask/cut 500rs if you are late for morning scrum.V.Strict 3 months notice period. Firing people/whole team on a 10-20 days notice without any PIP or bench. I worked there 3 years.
