Being a start up the higher management is approachable. They will hear one’s suggestions. The business model and aspiration of the company is very interesting and could be a good platform for somebody who has study abroad experience. The management supports ones professional growth at times. Good number of B2B clients.

Dislikes

Not learning from other ed-tech’s failures and experience is the biggest disadvantage for the company. I would like to highlight few points. 1. Failure in upgrading their portal and not considering what will work in the market. The management is under the impression that their portal is one of the best. However, reality is far from that. 2. Not being service oriented and putting too much focus on the sales can never work for start-up in study abroad industry, where there is competition at every corner. 3. The marketing team is one of the largest team and it is the worst marketing team, that one would have ever come across. Although there are people who are talented, but the company itself doesn’t understand how the marketing works, especially digital marketing. I feel like the marketing head is not experience enough to be handling such an important role. 3. The management is very dicey when it comes to setting up any process. There’s too much back and forth and changing of KPI’s and KRA’s. The moment things start running on track (the management is unable to digest it) and ends up changing the whole process. Even after being operational for more than a year the operations are not streamlined, which also affects the fact that the focus is not on providing service. 5. Given that aspirations are high but that is also one of the disadvantage for the company as it leads the management to believe that they are superior than any other company in the same sector and that the university or the people who are the clients should be treating Meta Apply as a place of worship. There is high potential in the organisation. However, the management should understand the need of the hour and how competitive the market is. They need to stick with one process and run with it. Learn from the companies who have been thriving in the industry for more than 15-20 years rather than following failed business models which have been functional for 4-5 years and are already in their downfall era....Read More

There is nothing to like and they keep reporting my profile but how else I can expose their unfair means and unethical practices and save other people not to get into that hell hole.

Dislikes

They reported my previous review they are this scared. Just one thing if you are willing to learn and grow don't join this place specially L&D Department. The manager lacks knowledge and does nothing. Senior management does nothing, neither do HRs. Its a lala company, save yourself and your precious time. Manager lies and bad mouthsabout the team behind their back, he is extremely insecure person. And, if you raise concerns to hrs they will ask is this your first job cause according to them you are junior so you are supposed to endure unethical practices by your manager and keep giving output. They also change your roles and responsibilities without even asking you so be aware, there are so many unethical practices but in their opinion its not at all a problem...Read More
