MyGate is a great company that is growing exponentially. Below are the good things : * Multiple revenue streams ensuring cashflow - Advertising revenue is the biggest contributor. Core business is subscription revenue from societies that use MyGate services but it is not as high as ad revenue, still better that 4 years back. Company ventured into consumer space by introducing locks and it is being received very well. Company plans to introduce entire range of smart devices which has a great potential. * Company Culture - Very young workforce. A lot of freshers are hired due to which office environment feels vibrant. Very flexible (atleast in ad sales teams) for working hours + leaves as long as you do your job effectively. Overall it has been a great experience of 2.6 years with MyGate....Read More

Some things that can be better : * Need to streamline Operations - So there is a operations team that has relationship managers to handle existing societies using MyGate app and another business development team to onboard new societies + ERP team for accounting. Ad sales team depend heavily on operations team for offline brandingactivites. Execution is done by field team. Operations can be streamlined and someone from industry who has done well in operations should be hired to lead this team. Given ad revenue is biggest contributor, every step should be taken to ensure operations is smooth. * Not hiring Experienced folks Company should focus on bringing experiences folks at different job levels. Also not to forget, seeing senior management rewarding toxic manager for taking credit of their junior’s work (knowing every toxicity that they have been spreading among the team members) but again, the company only cares about the work like a Baniya Shop, tracking all your activity, and literally do not care about how you actually feel about working with them....Read More

Have been with the company for more that 4 years, handling all the pressures, only because the company will literally not give you time to up skill yourself in anything (forget having your personal time with friends and family, because even after 8 years we are still startup and we do not believe in work life balance and employee well-being) Ask the company about their perks, I can bet that they’ll mention a lot of learnings (because they literally do not have any perks at all) and learning are you being ready to take immense pressure 24*7, not doing or even able to think anything apart from work till the time you work here. The company thinks if they are paying you a penny amount, they own your life, they can scold you, taunt you, make fun of you for having any personal life, can call you at 11:30 pm if any 11 pm message is left unattended and takes a right of making your life hell. Raghav chopra and Sanjeev mishra are the 2 worst people based in gurgaon office. They’re at top positions with zero to no skills. They just overburden and suppress other employees and eat the profits and promote within themselves. They lie during interview rounds, you’ve to work 24/7, no weekend no personal life nothing. You have totravel all day its proper field job. NOT AT ALL SAFE, NO CONVEYANCE COMPENSATION.. all your money has to be spent. Sanjeev mishra and raghav abuse their employees.. dhamki deke pressure deke. While they sit in office and chill wheread you’re stuck on empty far away places alone all on ur own to sites (which they didn’t mention before) and have to complete unachievable targets. They’re shameful and ruthless people and bunch of liars. Dont join, you wont learn, you’ll have no personal life, your physical health will fall apart along with your mental health....Read More
