My experience at this company was unfortunately quite challenging due to several issues related to work culture and management. There was an expectation for employees to be available beyond regular working hours, including evenings, weekends, and even during approved leaves. This was often enforced without prior discussion or consideration of personal time, which significantly impacted work-life balance. Management practices were inconsistent and at times unprofessional. Public criticism in front of peers was not uncommon, creating a demotivating environment. Project requirements often changed post-development, requiring complete rework without clear guidance or accountability from leadership. This led to frustration and inefficiency. Additionally, the testing team, composed largely of junior professionals, was expected to handle an unrealistic workload, including manual and automation testing across multiple platforms (web, iOS, Android, backend, APIs, performance testing, etc.). Minor issues were often escalated disproportionately, despite prior alignment on their severity.
