You can have coffee any time you want. Long term projects, mostly maintenance related. (Secures your job)

Dislikes

Company has lost the focus, management only talks about why this team is not in office, how much hours this team spends in office. They don't care whether you do any work during office hours or not just being there is and drink coffee 10 times is fine for them. Perfact example of modern slavery, they buy your time, and let them do whatever they want with you. Management talks about manipulated numbers, numbers are always bad in october as it is increment cycle of technical work force and always good in february as it is increment cycle of senior management. Company is good if you are about to retire in 5-10 years, but not recommended for freshers as there is no learning scope for medern technology and they will unnecessarily spend their energy on politics to save their job....Read More

Siemens Digital Industries has very good company culture and Long Term Service (LTS) benefit program and health insurance. Work life balance is okay (3 days mandatory office). One of the best company for long-term job security. Ownership culture is very good for individual contributors.

Dislikes

Salary is okay compared to market standards and there are no other benefits apart from LTS and insurance. Investment in skill development is limited only to manager's favorites. Far too much office politics, blame game and toxic work environment. Management is biased and believe the feedback from favorites without verifying the facts from other parties</mark>. It is great place to work. Management is excellent. Policy are awesome . It will be great if siemens offer it's share to employee as other company offers . Siemens should correct salary structure as per market standard. It is doing but required little push to do it as per market

Before pandemic Food was given at a reasonable price. Apart from that, company has a very bad work culture.

Dislikes

The managers are awful, manipulative and unskilled. Unskilled employees are promoted to higher level who are completely dependent on their subordinates for getting their work done. Managers don't have roadmap or plan of any tasks or any update on the tasks in pipeline. Managers will not know the details about who is doing what(some managers don't even knw the names of team members or even the components they are working on). Tasks of 4 people are expected to be completed by 1 employee and inspite of completing the tasks on time, there is not an ounce of appreciation from lead of manager. Since only the unskilled leads get promoted as managers here, it is a good company for people who don't work, who are manipulative and are good at taking credit for others work. The incompetent leads manipulate the data according to their benefit for get promoted. Only those who are good at flattering the manager can survive the politics and stay here. 1. Work Life Balance: Post covid, during WFH employees are expected to be infront of laptop round the clock. No concerns about the team from lead or manager. 2. Skill Development/Learning: No new learnings, you will end up working on legacy components for years 3. Job Security : Nil. Your job is secure if you flatter your unskilled leads and managers. 4. Appraisal : Depends on how you flatter the unskilled leads. As managers wont knw what you are doing, your complete appraisal results will depend on how much you flatter your lead. Job security is a plus. The work environment is relaxed. For work travel, an Amex card is provided, which is partially useful. Work-life balance is great.

Dislikes

Management is childish- enforcement of trivial rules. Training budget exists, but trying to use it wastes a lot of energy. Career growth is plainly time-bound and unexciting. Growing within the company in terms of salary isn't attractive- come in from outside and it'll be good. Travel policies are bad- no per-diem, have to keep the receipts for all transactions. Might end up losing personal money travelling for business. Politics exists, in management, in HR. More than organisational, it can be experienced within various teams. The work environment is dull- very few engagement activities or HR-related activities are conducted.
