Director - Supply Chain (16-22 yrs)

Supply Chain & Demand Planning, you will be responsible for leading end-to-end supply chain operations including demand forecasting, inventory optimization, procurement planning, logistics, and distribution. This role is critical in ensuring seamless alignment between sales, production, and delivery functions, while optimizing cost, service levels, and agility in response to market changes.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Demand Planning & Forecasting

- Lead the monthly S&OP process in collaboration with sales, marketing, and production teams.

- Build accurate demand forecasts based on historical data, market trends, and customer insights.

- Translate demand signals into production and inventory plans.

2. Supply Chain Strategy & Execution

- Design and implement robust supply chain strategies aligned with business objectives.

- Ensure end-to-end supply chain efficiency across inbound, production, warehousing, and outbound logistics.

- Drive supply chain digitization and automation.

3. Inventory & Procurement Management

- Monitor and manage optimal inventory levels across multiple warehouses and distribution points.

- Work closely with procurement to ensure timely availability of raw materials and finished goods.

- Reduce working capital without compromising service levels.

4. Logistics & Distribution

- Oversee logistics partners, warehouse operations, and last-mile delivery.

- Optimize cost per shipment and ensure on-time delivery to distributors, dealers, and customers.

- Implement KPIs to monitor OTIF (On Time In Full) performance.

5. Team Leadership & Cross-functional Collaboration

- Lead, coach, and mentor a high-performing supply chain and planning team.

- Collaborate with Finance, Sales, Manufacturing, and Quality teams to align business goals.

- Present insights and updates to top management regularly.

Key Requirements:

- Experience: 15+ years in Supply Chain, Demand Planning, or Operations,

- Education: B.E./B.Tech + MBA (Operations/Supply Chain preferred)

- Tools: Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP preferred), Demand Planning Tools (e.g., APO, Kinaxis, o9), and advanced Excel.

- Skills: Strong analytical mindset, stakeholder management, team leadership, and strategic thinking.
