Job Description:
Business Development Manager Responsibilities
1. Develop and implement comprehensive business development strategies aligned with the company's goals and objectives.
2. Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities, market trends, and competitive landscape.
3. Identify, target, and secure new business partnerships and clients to expand the company's market reach.
4. Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key clients, stakeholders, and industry partners through regular meetings, presentations, and follow-ups.
5. Lead and mentor the business development team, providing guidance and support to achieve sales targets and business growth.
6. Oversee the preparation of proposals, presentations, and sales pitches to prospective clients.
7. Lead negotiations for contracts and agreements, ensuring favorable terms and conditions for the company.
8. Monitor and analyze key performance metrics, providing regular reports and insights to senior management.
9. Work closely with the marketing, product development, and operations teams to align business development efforts with overall company strategy.
10. Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and conferences to network and promote services.
11. Developing goals for the development team and business growth and ensuring they are met.
12. Training personnel and helping team members develop their skills.
13. Work closely with the project management and engineering teams to ensure client expectations are met and projects are delivered on time and within budget.
14. Monitor financial performance against targets and adjust strategies as needed to achieve financial goals.
Business Development Manager Requirements:
1. Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
2. Minimum of 20 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related field within the solar or renewable energy industry.
3. Proven track record of success in a senior business development role, with a focus on Solar EPC projects
4. In-depth understanding of the solar energy market, including industry trends, technologies, and key players.
5. Strong network of industry contacts and proven ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
6. Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
7. Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
8. Proactive and self-motivated with a results-driven approach.
9. High level of integrity and professionalism
10. Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
