Senior Process Engineer

Role & responsibilities

• Overseeing engineering processes related to Operational activities that are performed in the complex.

• Developing and optimizing manufacturing processes to ensure efficiency and quality

• Implementing advanced knowledge of tools, jigs, fixtures, and design.

• Ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations

• Conducting cost analysis and managing RFQs (Request for Quotations)

• Leading significant engineering projects from conception to completion

• Applying Lean and Six Sigma methodologies for continuous improvement

• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance process performance

• Troubleshooting and resolving complex process issues

• Developing and implementing process automation solutions

• Monitoring and analyzing process data to identify trends and areas for improvement

• Creating and maintaining detailed process documentation

• Training and mentoring junior engineers and production staff

• Participating in industry groups and staying updated with the latest advancements

• Optimizing production processes to enhance efficiency and reduce waste

• Managing budgets and resources effectively to meet business goals

• Keeping up-to-date with and adhering to all relevant safety and environmental regulations

Preferred candidate profile

• Having 12~20 years in leading process engineering initiatives of large scale complex in Petrochemical, Refinery, Oil & Gas.

• Extensive knowledge of plant operations and process optimization, Plant Turnaround, Planning, Process Design and Calculations.

• Should have experience in handling day-to-day multi plant operation/process and trouble-shooting, Industrial Safety , Safe work permit.

• Should have deep understanding of a Petrochemical complex.

• Familiarization with various statutory and Environmental norms.

• Proficiency in process simulation software
