Job Summary :
Aiprus Software Private Limited is seeking a highly experienced Business Analyst with specialized expertise in Fiserv's North suite of core banking platforms.
This includes a strong focus on systems such as Signature, Portico, Premier (North), and other related Fiserv North solutions.
The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between business needs and IT capabilities, driving system enhancements, integrations, and optimizations.
You will be instrumental in identifying requirements, documenting processes, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve platform efficiency and support compliance-driven initiatives within our banking operations.
Key Responsibilities :
- Act as a primary liaison and subject matter expert between business users (including Operations, Product Management, Compliance, etc.) and IT teams for initiatives related to Fiserv North platforms (Signature, Portico, Premier (North), and other relevant solutions).
- Conduct thorough analysis to identify and document current state business processes, pain points, and opportunities for improvement within the Fiserv North landscape.
- Define, document, and validate future state processes and detailed system requirements, including functional and non-functional specifications, user stories, use cases, and process flows.
- Drive product optimization strategies specifically focused on enhancing the functionality, efficiency, and user experience of Signature, Portico, and related Fiserv North solutions.
- Collaborate closely with technical teams (developers, architects), quality assurance analysts, and project managers throughout the software development lifecycle (SDLC) to ensure requirements are correctly interpreted and implemented.
- Work with cross-functional teams to identify dependencies, resolve issues, and improve the overall efficiency and performance of the Fiserv North platforms and integrated systems.
- Support testing phases, including the creation of test cases, participation in functional testing, and coordination of User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure delivered solutions meet business requirements.
- Contribute to change management activities, including documenting changes, providing input for training materials, and supporting user adoption of new functionalities.
- Ensure all analysis and documentation adhere to internal standards and external regulatory and compliance requirements applicable to banking systems.
Required Skills :
- In-depth, hands-on experience and strong domain knowledge of Fiserv North core banking platforms, with particular expertise in :
1. Signature : Core processing system.
2. Portico : Teller and branch automation system.
3. Premier (North) : Specific understanding of the Premier version relevant to the North suite.
- Experience with other related Fiserv North suite solutions is highly valued.
- Strong business analysis skills, including requirements gathering, documentation, process modeling, and gap analysis.
- Excellent stakeholder management capabilities, with proven experience effectively communicating and collaborating with diverse groups, including business users, IT teams, and vendors.
- Solid understanding of banking domain operations, workflows, and standard processes across various areas like deposits, lending, customer service, etc.
- Ability to translate complex business needs into clear, concise, and actionable technical requirements.
General Requirements (Applicable to this role) :
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst specifically within the banking or financial services industry.
- Prior hands-on experience with Fiserv platforms (either Omaha or North suite) is mandatory.
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal), strong presentation abilities, and the capacity to clearly articulate technical and business concepts.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills, with a methodical approach to identifying root causes and proposing effective solutions.
- Strong project coordination skills, including the ability to manage tasks, timelines, and dependencies effectively.
- Robust understanding of core banking processes and the criticality of compliance-driven initiatives in a regulated financial environment.
Preferred Qualifications :
- Experience with platform migrations, system upgrades, or large-scale system implementation projects is a significant advantage.
- Experience working in an Agile or Scrum development environment.
- Business Analyst certification (e.g, CBAP, CCBA) is a plus.
- Experience with requirements management tools (e.g, JIRA, Confluence, Azure DevOps).
