Job Summary :

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Backend Engineer to join our growing technology team. You will be responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of scalable and robust backend applications, with a strong emphasis on utilizing serverless architectures on AWS.

You will leverage your expertise in either Java or Golang, coupled with your deep understanding of AWS Lambda and related services, to build and deploy high-performance, cost-effective solutions. As a senior member of the team, you will also contribute to code reviews, mentor junior engineers, and drive adoption of best practices.

Key Responsibilities :

- Scalable Application Development : Design, develop, and maintain highly scalable and resilient backend applications using either Java or Golang programming languages.

- Serverless Architecture Implementation : Architect and implement serverless solutions leveraging AWS Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, and other relevant AWS services.

- Clean and Efficient Code : Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code while adhering to established coding standards and best practices.

- Code Reviews and Feedback : Actively participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback to team members and incorporating feedback into your own work.

- CI/CD Pipeline Integration : Contribute to the design and implementation of robust Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.

- Best Practices and Standards : Champion and enforce software development best practices, including testing, documentation, and security considerations.

- Technology Exploration : Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends, particularly within the serverless and cloud computing domains, and propose their adoption where beneficial.

- Problem Solving and Debugging : Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues and performance bottlenecks in backend systems.

- Collaboration and Teamwork : Collaborate effectively with frontend developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality software solutions.

- Mentorship (Optional) : Provide guidance and mentorship to junior engineers on the team.

Requirements :

- Minimum 6+ years of professional experience in software development.

- Strong proficiency in either Java or Golang programming languages.

- Significant hands-on experience with AWS services, particularly AWS Lambda, API Gateway, and DynamoDB.

- Strong understanding of serverless architecture principles and microservices design patterns.

- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems, preferably Git.

- Knowledge of containerization technologies, such as Docker.

- Experience with Kubernetes is a plus.

- Excellent problem-solving skills and a strong attention to detail.

- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts clearly.
