Python Developer - Flask/FastAPI (4-6 yrs)

Position Summary :

As a Python Developer specializing in FastAPI, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust and scalable web applications. You will work in a fast-paced environment, collaborating with various stakeholders and leveraging your expertise in modern Python frameworks and cloud technologies.

Key Skills (Mandatory) :

- Python : Strong proficiency in Python programming language, including object-oriented principles and best practices.

- FastAPI : Extensive hands-on experience in designing and developing APIs using the FastAPI framework.

- Flask : Solid experience with the Flask framework for web application development.

- Database Integration : Proven ability to integrate applications with databases, including experience with SQL (Structured Query Language), ORM (Object-Relational Mapping) tools (e.g., SQLAlchemy), Alembic for database migrations

- Cloud Platforms : Experience with at least one major cloud provider (AWS or Azure).

- Unit Testing : Proficiency in writing comprehensive unit tests for Python applications.

- CI/CD : Understanding and experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment pipelines.

- Git : Strong command of Git for version control, branching, merging, and collaborative development.

Responsibilities :

- Hands-on development of backend services and APIs using Python and the FastAPI/Flask frameworks.

- Design and implement robust, scalable, and secure web applications adhering to industry best practices.

- Collaborate closely with clients, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams (frontend developers, QA, product managers) to understand requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.

- Optimize application performance, including implementing caching strategies and performing query optimization for database interactions.

- Utilize Git for effective version control and collaborative development within a team environment.

- Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback and ensuring code quality.

- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, ensuring the smooth operation of applications.

- Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and architectural decisions.
