Job Summary:

Alba is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced accounts analyst to join our Finance, Accounting & Audit team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling daily financial operations, including bank reconciliations, accounting entries, and support for AP/AR processes using SAP. This role is critical in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial records.

Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare, examine, and analyze financial reports to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.

- Develop and manage the preparation of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.

- Advise company on tax strategies, including tax preparation, tax filings, and minimizing tax liabilities.

- Ensure compliance with tax regulations and deadlines.

- Provide recommendations on tax planning opportunities and ensure timely tax payments.

- Conduct audits to verify the accuracy of financial records and ensure compliance with accounting standards and laws.

- Provide recommendations for improving financial management, internal controls, and operational efficiency.

- Assist clients in developing financial strategies for managing budgets, cash flow, and capital structure.

- Analyze financial performance and provide insights to improve profitability and cost-effectiveness.

- Monitor key financial metrics to track business health and performance.

- Provide consulting services on business restructuring, mergers and acquisitions, and financial forecasting.

- Offer advice on improving financial systems, accounting processes, and business strategies.

- Ensure compliance with local and international accounting standards

- Stay updated with financial regulations, standards, and changes in tax laws.

- Assist with regulatory filings and reporting requirements.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce (B.Com, M.Com, MBA in Finance, or equivalent)

Experience:

- 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in accounting

- Prior experience in a shared services or manufacturing industry is preferred

Skills:

- Proficiency in SAP FI (Financial Accounting), with hands-on experience in bank reconciliations and AR modules

- Strong understanding of bank reconciliation processes, cash flow management, and general ledger accounting

- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills

- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
