SAP ABAP/RAP Developer (4-8 yrs)

Job Description :

We are looking for an experienced ABAP RAP Developer to join our SAP development team. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in ABAP RAP (Managed and Unmanaged) services hands on experience MANDATORY, CDS views, OData services, and RESTful Application Programming Model (RAP). Experience with SAP Fiori/UI5 is a strong advantage, as you'll be involved in building modern, user-centric applications on the SAP S/4HANA platform.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and enhance enterprise applications using ABAP RESTful Application Programming Model (RAP).

- Develop CDS views, OData services, and business logic in ABAP for S/4HANA applications.

- Work with ABAP Objects for reusable and modular programming.

- Collaborate with functional consultants and UI developers to build end-to-end applications.

- Integrate backend logic with Fiori/UI5 frontend components.

- Perform technical analysis, debugging, and performance tuning.

- Follow SAP best practices and ensure compliance with project standards.

- Participate in code reviews and mentor junior developers when needed.

Required Skills :

- Strong experience in ABAP and ABAP Objects development.

- Hands-on experience with ABAP RAP (RESTful Application Programming Model).

- Proficient in building and consuming CDS Views and OData V2/V4 services.

- Working knowledge of Fiori/UI5 and how it integrates with backend services.

- Good understanding of S/4HANA architecture and extensions.

- Experience with SAP BTP and cloud development tools is a plus.
