Position Overview :

We are looking for a highly skilled and proactive ServiceNow Developer to join our dynamic IT team. This individual will be responsible for developing, configuring, integrating, and maintaining ServiceNow applications and modules while working in close collaboration with process owners, architects, and support teams.

The ideal candidate should have a strong background in ServiceNow development, with a deep understanding of ITSM, ITOM, CMDB, and Service Portal, as well as hands-on experience in JavaScript, AngularJS, and REST/SOAP integrations. The role involves working on new developments, enhancement of existing systems, support, and ensuring efficient delivery of IT solutions that drive business value.

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities :

P- artner and coordinate closely with internal teams including ServiceNow architects, business analysts, developers, and administrators to execute ongoing enhancements and projects.

Design, develop, and configure ServiceNow applications using industry best practices with deep experience in :

- Client Scripts

- Business Rules

- UI Policies

- Flow Designer

- Workflows

- Catalog Items

- Develop and maintain custom ServiceNow applications and scoped apps that address unique business requirements while adhering to ServiceNow development standards.

- Perform ServiceNow integrations with various third-party applications and systems using REST, SOAP, JSON, and XML web services.

- Collaborate on upgrade planning, development instance reviews, testing cycles, and final implementation from development to production environments.

- Extend the ServiceNow platform using JavaScript, AngularJS, and Bootstrap, including creating user-friendly, interactive Service Portals and dashboards.

- Participate in automated testing and validation of new functionality using ServiceNow's Automated Test Framework (ATF).

- Ensure compliance with ServiceNow licensing models and platform governance policies.

- Provide ongoing support, issue resolution, and system improvements to ensure the stability and optimal performance of the platform.

- Maintain technical documentation, solution design documents, and user manuals for custom modules and services.

- Collaborate with both onshore and offshore teams to ensure seamless delivery and support.

Required Skills & Experience :

- 3 to 6+ years of hands-on experience in ServiceNow development, configuration, and platform management.

- Strong understanding of IT Service Management (ITSM) and modules like Incident, Change, Problem, Request, Knowledge Management.

- Experience in IT Operations Management (ITOM) including Discovery, Event Management, and CMDB integrations.

- Proven expertise in using JavaScript, AngularJS, HTML, CSS, XML, and AJAX within the ServiceNow environment.

- Proficiency in working with REST/SOAP APIs, and Integration Hub for building and consuming web services.

- Experience in building and customizing Service Portals using widgets and AngularJS frameworks.

- Ability to design complex workflows and automate business processes using Flow Designer and Workflow Editor.

- Understanding of the ServiceNow data model, schema, ACLs, roles, and best practices for extending the schema for custom applications.

- Experience with ServiceNow platform upgrades, patch management, and compatibility testing.

- Familiarity with ServiceNow license and entitlement structure.

- Working knowledge of Automated Test Framework (ATF) and its role in release assurance.

Preferred Qualifications :

- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) - Required

- ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) - Preferred

- ServiceNow ITSM/ITOM/IntegrationHub certifications - Nice to have

- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and project management tools like Jira and Confluence

- Experience working in regulated or enterprise environments with strong documentation and compliance requirements
