Senior Scrum Master - Agile Methodologies (8-10 yrs)

About the Job :

We're looking for a dedicated and experienced Scrum Master to join our team. As a Scrum Master, you'll be key in facilitating our Scrum process, ensuring our team consistently applies Agile practices, and proactively removing any obstacles that might slow us down. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Agile methodologies, exceptional communication skills, and a knack for fostering a collaborative, high-performing team environment.

Responsibilities :

- Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.

- Guide and coach the team and organization on how to use Agile and Scrum practices and values.

- Remove impediments or guide the team to remove impediments by finding the right personnel to remove them.

- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, self-organization, and accountability within the team.

- Protect the team from external interruptions and distractions.

- Collaborate with the Product Owner to ensure a well-groomed and prioritized backlog.

- Monitor team progress and performance, and provide reports to stakeholders as needed.

- Promote cross-functional collaboration and effective communication within the team and with external stakeholders.

- Identify and manage risks, and help the team resolve conflicts effectively.

Qualifications, Experience, and Skills :

- 8+ years of proven experience as a Scrum Master or in a similar role.

- Significant experience working in a software development environment.

- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and Scrum principles.

- Excellent communication, facilitation, and coaching skills.

- Demonstrated ability to identify and remove impediments that hinder team progress.

- Strong organizational and time-management skills.

- Proficiency with Agile tools such as Jira or similar platforms.

- Technical Acumen : Familiarity with software development processes and technologies, ideally including experience with or exposure to languages like Java, Python, and JavaScript.

- Strong leadership and team-building skills.

- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

- High level of emotional intelligence and interpersonal skills.

- Problem-solving mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
