Senior Analyst - IT Automation (3-5 yrs)

About the Role :

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Analyst - Automation to join our dynamic team. In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in identifying, designing, developing, and implementing automation solutions that streamline processes, improve efficiency, and reduce operational costs across various business functions. You will leverage your expertise in automation technologies to drive significant impact and contribute to our continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities :

Process Analysis & Identification :

- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand existing processes, identify automation opportunities, and gather detailed requirements.

- Conduct feasibility studies and cost-benefit analyses to prioritize automation initiatives.
- Map current state processes and design future state automated workflows.

Solution Design & Development :

- Design, develop, test, and deploy robust and scalable automation solutions using various tools (e.g., RPA platforms, scripting languages, low-code/no-code platforms).

- Work closely with IT and other technical teams to ensure seamless integration of automation solutions with existing systems.

- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including solution design documents, test plans, and user manuals.

Implementation & Support :

- Manage the end-to-end implementation lifecycle of automation projects.

- Provide ongoing support, maintenance, and enhancement for deployed automation solutions.

- Troubleshoot issues and resolve defects efficiently to minimize business disruption.

Best Practices & Governance :

- Adhere to best practices in automation development, coding standards, and security protocols.

- Contribute to the establishment and improvement of automation governance frameworks and methodologies.

- Stay abreast of emerging automation technologies and trends to recommend innovative solutions.

Mentorship & Collaboration :

- Act as a subject matter expert, providing guidance and mentorship to junior analysts and team members.

- Foster a culture of automation and continuous improvement within the organization.

- Effectively communicate project status, challenges, and successes to stakeholders at all levels.

Qualifications :

Required :

Experience : Minimum of 3+ years of professional experience in automation development, process improvement, or a related field.

Technical Skills :

- Proven experience with at least one leading Robotic Process Automation (RPA) platform (e.g., UiPath, Automation Anywhere, Blue Prism, Microsoft Power Automate).

- Strong proficiency in at least one scripting or programming language (e.g., Python, C#, Java, VBA).

- Solid understanding of relational databases and SQL.

- Experience with API integrations and web services (REST/SOAP).

Analytical Skills : Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking abilities.

Communication : Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.

Methodologies : Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.

Education : Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology.

Preferred (Nice to Have) :

- Certifications in leading RPA platforms (e.g., UiPath Certified Advanced RPA Developer, Automation Anywhere Certified Master RPA Developer).

- Experience with other automation tools such as low-code/no-code platforms (e.g., Appian, Mendix), workflow automation, or intelligent automation (AI/ML integration).

- Knowledge of process mining tools.
